Australian Catholic Youth Festival
The Festival targets 16 - 18 year olds and post-school leavers up to the age of 25. The Archdiocese is hoping that many secondary students from across CECG schools are able to attend (from Years 9 - 11). Archbishop Christopher heads the Australian Catholic Bishops’ Conference (ACBC) that promotes this event, and sees the festival as significant in the lives of our students.
You will find more information available at https://acyf.org.au Please also refer to the attached flyer.
We are currently seeking genuine expressions of interest for St Anne’s students who would like to join Mrs Collins in attending this amazing opportunity in Melbourne. We hope there will be sufficient St Anne's students to make this opportunity possible.
Preliminary costs and arrangements have indicated an estimated cost of $1800 per student to cover travel, accommodation and most meals. We may be able to look at fundraising to help subsidise some of this cost once we have a clearer idea of numbers of those who are interested. We would love to hear from you as soon as possible.
To express your initial interest please make contact with Mrs Collins asap via email at jacqueline.collins@cg.catholic.edu.au

Urgent request for expressions of interest for Altar servers
We are about to run training for altar servers with Father Alex. The parish has only two active altar servers at the moment and we are very keen to have more young people serving in the parish and at school masses in this capacity. If your child is interested in training as an altar server and has made their First Eucharist (Communion) in the Catholic Church please email Mrs Collins on jacqueline.collins@cg.catholic.edu.au with an expression of interest to ensure that they don’t miss out on the training.
