Anzac Day Mass

The Parish is requesting children to volunteer to be part of the ANZAC Day Parish Mass Service on the 25th April at 10.00am.

Jobs include flag bearers, hat bearers and altar servers. We are still in need of some volunteers of flag bearers and altar servers.

The Mass will commence at 10.00am this Sunday and we would like your child to wear their winter school uniform. The children volunteering are asked to meet Mrs Collins at the Sacred Heart Church at 9.45am and to sit together during Mass.

If your child/ren would like to volunteer for any of these jobs, please contact Mrs Collins via email at jacqueline.collins@cg.catholic.edu.au as soon as possible or leave a message at the front office. You will receive a reply email or phone call to confirm your child’s involvement.

Are you able to please help sew?

This year we are fortunate to be able to celebrate Confirmation for the Year 6 and 7 students. Given that this is a such a large group I am in need of some volunteers to sew stoles ready for the students to be able to place symbols on for their Confirmation stoles.Whether you have a sewing machine and feel that you may be able to help sew; you can sew if a machine can be found for you to use; or if you are able to help cut out some felt patches in preparation ready for the students we would love to hear from you. Year 6 Sacrament of Confirmation: Thursday 24th June 6pm

Year 10 Overnight Retreat Warrambui June 10th and 11th. Details will be sent out to families soon.

Youth Ministry

It is extremely exciting that we have our Stage 5 students (Years 9 & 10) who are completing a unit about Youth Ministry this term. It is wonderful that the Stage 5 students will be helping to lead sections of the Confirmation program and a Year 7 Retreat this term. They students are very excited to be involved and keen to help lead by sharing their faith.
